April 11, 2005 - Prairie's I Dream of Greenie a.k.a. "Sadie" provided us with excitement this past weekend as she won her first conformation points by taking Winner's Bitch and Best of Winners for a 3 point major at the Hutchinson Kennel Club show in Valley Center, KS. It was a great way to start her (and my) show career as we just recently finished a basic conformation class with the Wichita Kennel Club.

April 24, 2005 - This past weekend was an overall success at the Indian Nations Brittany Club hunt test in Sand Springs, OK. Tess received her 3rd qualifying score in senior hunter. A puppy from her 2004 litter received two qualifying legs in junior hunter. Although Sadie did not receive qualifying scores in the master hunter tests, she performed well and we will continue working toward that difficult title.

May 2, 2005 - Congratulations to Reuben and Heidi who completed their Junior Hunter titles at the combined Sunflower GSP Club and Southern Kansas Brittany Club hunt test in Yoder, Kansas. Tess completed her Senior Hunter title and received her first qualifying score towards her Master Hunter title. Sadie qualified for Master Hunter 3 times this past weekend, and is now half-way towards her MH title.

June 2005 - Sadie won her second 3 point major by taking Best of Winners in Oklahoma City. She now is half-way finished with her conformation championship.

August 14, 2005 - Tess has come into season, and is being bred to DC Odyssey's Perfection MH, a.k.a. Karl. This should be an excellent litter of puppies. Check out the Planned Breedings page for more details.

October 2005 - Gretchen, a puppy from Tess' 2004 litter received a Prize 1 with 110 points in an Illinois NAVHDA Natural Ability test. Congratulations to her on a job well done.

April 2006 - Remi, a puppy from Tess' 2005 litter received his first three qualifying scores in Junior Hunter. Sadie qualified twice more in Master Hunter and needs one leg to complete her title. Hackett, a puppy from Tess' 2004 litter also completed his Junior Hunter title and is working on his Senior Hunter title.

May 2006 - Sadie completed her Master Hunter title in Nebraska. Thank you to the Gordon Setter Club of America for holding a fine hunt test near Crab Orchard.

June 2006 - Sadie won her third major by going best of breed over specials for a 4 point major in Oklahoma City. She completed her title with another major win at the same show cluster. She was expertly handled by Clint Livingston. Our thanks to Clint and his team for a fine job.

September 2006 - Sadie has been bred to Inka and we are expecting a whelping date of November 26.

October 2006 - Tess completed the second leg of her Master Hunter title at the Sunflower GSP Club Hunt test.

Novemeber 2006 - Sadie is now the proud mother of 11 happy puppies born on November 30.

April 2007 - Ovation's Little Tessie, 2005 litter, received her first qualifying leg toward a senior hunter title at the Southern Kansas Brittany Club hunt test in Yoder, KS.

April 2008 - Ovation's Driving Miss Daisy, 2006 litter, received three qualifying legs toward her Junior Hunter title at the combine Southern Kansas Brittany Club and Sunflower German Shorthair Pointer Club hunt test. At the same test, Ovation's Rudiger, 2006 litter, received his first two legs towards a senior hunter title. Our Tess received two more qualifying legs towards her master hunter title and now needs only one to complete the title.

May 2008 - Tess completed the final leg of her master hunter title at the Gordon Setter Club hunt test in Crab Orchard, NE and is now our second dog finished to this difficult level.
